Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-09. TicketsGarage keeps data collection to a minimum. This policy explains what we collect, why, the third parties involved, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

We are an affiliate ticket discovery service. We do not sell tickets directly or process your card payments — when you proceed to checkout you leave our site for an authorized ticket partner whose own privacy policy then applies to your purchase.

Information we collect

  • City preference cookie.A small first-party cookie (“tb_city”) remembers the city you selected so the site opens to relevant listings next time. It contains no personal identifier.
  • Optional location.If you tap “Detect my location”, your browser requests an approximate IP-based location from a geolocation provider solely to suggest the nearest city. This runs only after your action and is not stored on our servers.
  • Optional usage and click data. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may measure pages viewed, ticket links selected, device details and an approximate region. We do not load these tools before you consent.
  • Form submissions. If you contact us, list an event or request a notification, we receive the details you choose to submit (for example your name and email) so we can reply or alert you.

Cookies and similar technologies

The city-preference cookie is used for an essential site choice. Analytics cookies are optional and are set only after you select “Accept analytics”. You can change that choice at any time using “Privacy Choices” in the footer. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser; essential browsing still works, though your saved city will be forgotten.

Analytics and advertising partners

If you consent, our current measurement and behavioural-analytics partners are:

  • Google Analytics 4 — traffic and event measurement. Google may set its own cookies; see Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session insights used to improve usability. Clarity processes data under its own terms.

Our affiliate partners (including Ticketmaster and HelloTickets, connected through the Impact network) may set their own cookies when you click through to their checkout. Those are governed by each partner's privacy policy.

Third-party ticket partners

When you follow a ticket or attraction link, you leave TicketsGarageand transact on the partner seller's own website. Any payment, contact or order information you provide at checkout is collected and controlled by that partner under their privacy policy, not us. We do not receive your card details or purchase information.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained according to the configured provider retention periods and is then deleted or aggregated. City-preference and consent cookies persist until you clear them. Form submissions (contact, listing, notification requests) are kept for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond and provide the service you asked for.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. This includes rights under the EU/UK GDPR (such as access, erasure and portability) and US state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), which lets California residents know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of a “sale” or “share” of personal information. TicketsGarage does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Children's privacy

TicketsGarage is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
