How we make money
Our affiliate model, disclosed in plain English — how TicketsGarage stays free, why the price you pay never changes, and why commissions never affect what we recommend.
Is TicketsGarage free, and how does it make money?
TicketsGarageis free to use. We're an affiliate: when you book through our links, the ticket partner pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. The price is identical whether or not you came through us. We never mark up tickets or add our own fees — the only money that changes hands is between you and the seller at their checkout.
How we make money
Our revenue comes from affiliate commissions. We partner with reputable ticket sellers — including Ticketmaster and HelloTickets, connected through the Impact affiliate network — and when you follow one of our links and complete a booking, that partner pays us a referral commission. That commission funds the site: live pricing across thousands of events, the editorial guides, and the engineering that keeps it all running.
Critically, we are not the seller or merchant of record. TicketsGaragedoes not hold inventory, take your payment, issue tickets or handle delivery. Your purchase completes on the partner's own secure checkout, under their terms and buyer guarantee. We're the place you discover and compare events; they're the place you buy.
What this means for the price you pay
Our commission comes out of the partner's side of the transaction, so it costs you nothing extra. We do not add a markup and we do not charge a booking or service fee of our own. Any service, delivery or facility fees you see are set by the seller at their checkout — not by us — and are shown to you before you pay. If you booked the same ticket directly with the partner without ever visiting TicketsGarage, you would pay exactly the same total.
We are a resale marketplace, not the Ticket Seller. Prices are set by third-party sellers and may be above face value.
How we choose what to show
We only link to authorized, reputable ticket partners with a real buyer guarantee — so your purchase is protected if something goes wrong. We surface live prices and aim to keep availability honest: if an event is sold out or off sale, we'd rather say so than send you to a dead end. We don't deal with private sellers or social-media resale, where there's no recourse. You can read more about how we vet partners and what makes a purchase safe on our Trust & Safety guide.
Our commitment to editorial independence
Commissions don't change our rankings or which events we surface. We do not sell placement, and a higher commission never buys a better position or a recommendation. The events and partners you see are chosen on relevance, availability and reputation — full stop. We'd rather keep your trust than chase a marginally bigger payout, because a site you can't trust isn't worth building. You can learn more about who we are and why we built this on our About page.
Affiliate disclosure
TicketsGarage is an affiliate. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you book through them — at no additional cost to you. We are not the ticket seller or merchant of record, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any artist, team or venue. This disclosure is provided in the spirit of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines so you always know how we're compensated.
Frequently asked questions
Is TicketsGarage free?
Yes. TicketsGarage is completely free to use. There is no membership, subscription or fee to browse events, compare prices or follow a link to a ticket partner. We make our money from affiliate commissions paid by those partners, not from you.
Do I pay more by booking through you?
No. The price is identical whether or not you came through TicketsGarage. We never mark up tickets or add our own fees. The commission our partner pays us comes out of their side of the transaction, at no extra cost to you.
Who actually sells the ticket?
Our ticket partner does. TicketsGarage is an affiliate, not the seller or merchant of record. When you click through, your purchase completes on the partner's secure checkout, under their terms, payment processing and buyer guarantee — not ours.
Do commissions affect what you recommend?
No. Commissions do not change our rankings, which events we surface or which partner we send you to. We choose what to show based on what is relevant, available and reputable — editorial independence comes before any commission.
Are the prices you show accurate?
We show live prices pulled from our partners and aim to keep availability honest. Because inventory and prices change in real time, the final price and any fees are confirmed by the seller at their checkout before you pay.
